Upon your arrival at the Grand Ballroom, remember to proceed to the reception table outside the entrance to have your tickets verified before you are allowed to enter. You can leave the black/white at 70-80% and then add other colours to your outfit through other accessories like your shoes, scarf, hat, bag, necklace or even your hair. The examples that are under the cut are mostly of top-and-bottom outfits because I don't think anyone needs much help in one-piece dresses..? :x Haha, you can try googling too~ Take a look at what some celebrities wore to the recent Star Awards 2006 if you want :D ( click here . ) Inappropriate attire would mean: Outfits that make you look like you'd rather walk around nude (i.e.: outfits that reveal too much) Outfits that are of offensive nature. Hup Lian will be in-charge on that day. The time will be confirmed soon. Q & A What if I'm unable to make it on those days? Can a friend collect the card on my behalf? Yes. Make sure you pass your receipt to your friend who is going to collect the card on your behalf. No receipt, no card. What if I've lost my receipt? Can I still collect the card? If you have lost your receipt, you will need to be present when collecting your card and you will need to have your Identification Card (IC) or your EZ-Link with you. I assume most of you have bought your prom outfits? If you haven't and need some ideas on what to wear, please comment here and I'll post some examples :D Also, please be reminded that the transferring of tickets is NOT ALLOWED. Transferring of tickets meaning, your friend has bought a ticket and realises that he/she is unable to make it and then passes the ticket to you instead without our knowledge. Each person who has bought a ticket is attached to a serial number. If we find that you are the owner of a transferred ticket, you will not be admitted into the ballroom. You will have to pay the full price of $58. Don't go blaming us/crying in front of us because we have already stated this rule in the FAQ already ok? <3 Remember to come for the auditions tomorrow if you're interested in performing during Prom! Because a couple of people have approached us to ask if they could perform on Prom Night, we have decided to do auditions and pick 3 PERFORMERS to perform on Prom Night. Date: Tuesday 5th December 2006 Time: 10:00AM - 2:00PM Venue: Study Area We are looking for: Singers (Group/Solo), Dancers NOTE! Your performance should not exceed 5 minutes You can show us a simple performance at the audition, but add more to your performance later (if you get picked). We are only giving you the stage and exposure, so don't expect anything extra from us ^^ We will pick you based on your talent and showmanship. Showmanship is VERY IMPORTANT! There will be one or two rehearsals which you will have to attend so everyone's familiar with everything~ If you have any questions, you can post them here :)

But I really wish to wear other colours :'( Yes, you'd need to follow the theme of Black & White. You can still put in a little of another colour in your outfit (through your bag/purse, accessories like ties and badges), but 80% of what you're wearing should be black and/or white. Will there be a Prom King and Queen? YESSSS there will be a Prom King and Queen! We also have other titles to give away on that day and we will be explaining more on this soon. If you want to try win a title, make sure you're dressed in your best :D I reallllyyy want to go, but I can't afford the ticket! It's too expensive~ How? Considering the venue of this year's prom (it's at Hilton Hotel's Grand Ballroom *ahem*), the prom souvenirs and the amount of effort the planning team are putting into this event, $58 is a very reasonable price for the ticket. We allow payment through installments; the minimum deposit is $10. If you wish to pay via this method, please look for Loretta (4C) or Huplian (4F). When's the last last last day to get tickets? We may be holding more official ticket selling days, but for now you will have to look for Loretta (4C) or Huplian (4F) personally if you wish to buy tickets. Last day is tentatively set at 25 November, however we may decide to bring this forward so that we can make the necessary arrangements. Can we still buy tickets after the last day? Depends, you will have to look for either one of us Sec 4 Senior Prefects. We will most likely say no, but even if we do say yes, you will be missing out on the official prom invitation card and the prom souvenir. What if I arrived late for Prom on that day? Can I still attend it? You will be made to wait outside the ballroom until there is a suitable interval for you to join in the fun ^^ I've bought my ticket, but I have something on at the last minute. Do I get a refund? Or can I give my ticket to someone else? No and no. There will be no refunds at all and tickets are non-transferrable. We know who has bought the tickets and each are assigned their own serial number, so if you transferred your tickets to someone else without us knowing, chances are the person would not be able to enter the ballroom on that day unless he/she pays the full $58. Are the receipts our tickets? You will be able to redeem your receipts for the official prom invitation card in November. Do check this site for updates and details :) You will need your receipts, so please do not discard them yet~! Are gowns/suits the kind of clothes we have to wear? We'll be posting clothing examples later, so watch out for that post :D It's up to you though, as long as it's anything between smart casual and formal.
